Pursuit of Happiness |Edmonton Wedding Photographer|

As most of you know, I recently packed my bags and headed to Shreveport, Louisiana where I attended my first photography workshop. This workshop had made appearances on my page for months before I took the plunge. I will admit, I normally do not follow a lot of photographers, there are just too many great...

2012 Is The Year-Stop Kony

I have watched this video flood Facebook for weeks now. I feared opening it as I like to live in my little bubble of my happy world. I do not watch the news because it makes me sad. I do not surround myself with the politics or world events. Even when my husband was in...

I have had the video open on my browser since I first started seeing it pop up. I haven’t watched it yet, partly because I have been running around like a crazy person and partly because I am like you and I like my little bubble. I’m going to watch it and share it now, thank you Nicole.

What an awesome letter to get Nicole!! And I am sure every letter of it is true. As a photographer, I have also followed and admired your work for a long time and love the way you are yourself. Keep it up! You are an inspiration to so many :)

Be Mine |Edmonton Wedding Photographer|

February 14, 2010 Shawn and I sat on the beaches in Thailand. We had seen each other for the first time again after being apart for 3 months while Shawn was serving in Afghanistan. I will never forget this day, or many other memories made during our trip. It was one eventful, emotional, and amazing...

The Count Down Begins |Edmonton Wedding Photographer|

Only ten days! Just 10 days left. I can hardly stand it. It has been over 3 months since we last shot a wedding. I am going a little insane. My husband just keeps laughing at me because usually by the end of wedding season I am in need of a huge break, but now...

I am just very slowly learning all the buttons on my DSLR – during a shoot, are you constantly changing the settings? Don’t you miss great shots? Or do you have a good setting for the area that you are in and keep it there? Just want to know how you can shoot quick if you need to change things.

Thank you so much for your question Sue.
We do change our settings as we find with wedding photography the light is always changing. However, we have learned to be very fast while changing them. We know what we like and some what stick to that. Also, this is the good thing about having 2 photographers. You won’t miss the big moments!

Hope that helps!
