What an awesome letter to get Nicole!! And I am sure every letter of it is true. As a photographer, I have also followed and admired your work for a long time and love the way you are yourself. Keep it up! You are an inspiration to so many :)

What an awesome post! Rings true though! I knew no matter what our budget or what we had to cut, that photography was a non-negotiable…and I definitely got what I paid for…and more :)

I am just very slowly learning all the buttons on my DSLR – during a shoot, are you constantly changing the settings? Don’t you miss great shots? Or do you have a good setting for the area that you are in and keep it there? Just want to know how you can shoot quick if you need to change things.

Thank you so much for your question Sue.
We do change our settings as we find with wedding photography the light is always changing. However, we have learned to be very fast while changing them. We know what we like and some what stick to that. Also, this is the good thing about having 2 photographers. You won’t miss the big moments!

Hope that helps!
